How to Earn Full Time Income Blogging

How to Earn Full Time Income Blogging

You may already have a blog and want to know how to really start earning full time income from it. What is the big secret? What is the key? The truth is, it takes a while to earn full time income blogging. It does not happen over night. One of the biggest mistakes I see bloggers make is giving up to soon. I started blogging on the side. I may have put just an hour into it a day. I have also made tons of mistakes along the way. One of the best tips I can give is to keep learning. If you stay committed you have a great chance to earn full time income just from blogging.

A little about me:
I started out with pennies barely trickling in. I started many different blogs here at Blogger. Some I could tell were not getting me anywhere and some are doing good. For a while, I was stuck at $100 a month. That was when I had Blogging on the back burner and was not adding any new articles. I was happy and needed to spend my time making instant income and not residual. When we got back onto our feet with our finances I started back up with blogging. I was putting in about 2 to 3 hours a day and since then, my earnings have kept growing.

Keep in mind my Google Adsense payments include my blogs and YouTube videos, but I just recently became monetized with YouTube, so most of the earnings are just from my blogs. Last month I brought in just over $2400.

How to Earn Full Time Income Blogging, Tip 1
Write as much as you can in the beginning. You need a good library of articles before you really see money. Do not get discouraged. Write for 2 or more months faithfully before you give up or choose another subject.

How to Earn Full Time Income Blogging, Tip 2
Keywords, Title and Labels
You want the search engines to understand what your blog or article is about. Make sure your title is also a label. Make sure you repeat those words throughout the blog often.

How to Earn Full Time Income Blogging, Tip 3
Promote!
You will not earn any money blogging if no one reads your posts! Tweet each post after you write it, add the url to Bing and Google, Digg it and promote at Shetoldme. Share your blog posts on Facebook.

Quit Your Day Job and Earn Full Time Income From Home

Quit Your Day Job and Earn Full Time Income From Home

The truth is I earn full time income from home. I did not actually quit a day job, I was an at home Mom prior to earning full time income from home. This took a load off of my spouses back and the best part, I get to make my own hours and although my kids are now older teens, I can be here whenever they need me.

Let me show you how to quit your day job and like so many of us.... earn full time income from home.

For starters, do not expect to become rich overnight. It is just not a realistic goal. Earning full time income will take time. So for now, do not yet quit your full time job, just be patient.

Where I earn my income from:
I have been a seller and trading assistant on Ebay now for many years. This remains to be great income. I also earn money from blogging. Last month, just from my Google Adsense I earned over $2000. This included my blogs and my YouTube Videos. I earn minimal monthly income at Zazzle. That usually ranges from $50 to $150 a month.

In the past, I have earned income from Ehow, Associated Content and even Lulu. Ehow went under and occasionally I will get a check at Lulu for a few E-books I wrote.

In order to quit your day job and earn full time income from home, you must be willing to try many things. I never put all my eggs in one basket. I have failed at more sites than I succeeded at.

Blogging is a great way to earn money, you can read some of my other posts to see how I do that. Other legitimate sites that pay for writing are Bukisa, Demand Studios (parent company of Ehow), The Examiner and Associated Content. Demand and The Examiner require you to fill out an application and then you may or may not get hired. They both pay well.

I spend little time uploaded art and pictures to Zazzle but love making money there. Perhaps if I put more time in there, earnings would go up. It is a super fun place to make money! It is residual.

In closing, do as I did and start at a few sites. Start slow and let your library or work build. Give your self set goals and accomplish them. Who knows where you can be in 6 months. My YouTube library consisted of just 10 videos. To my surprise I received an email out of the blue that I had enough views to be monetized.

Make Money Blogging

I started blogging almost 2 years ago. I began making nothing. Seriously, the first 6 months, pennies trickled in. I put blogging on the back burner many times. When I came back to it I tried different subjects. I started earning about $100 a month and was happy with that. So at this point in my story, I have several blogs. I even earn money at Google Adsense from YouTube. This past February I felt like I learned alot writing at Ehow, Mahalo and some other sites. I felt like starting to blog again would be a fabulous idea. To make along story short, from then until now, earnings seemed to double every month. (With exception to this current month, but that is a different story.) Last month I made over $2000 blogging.

I feel like I finally "get it." I know what I did wrong, what I did right and I have learned the biggest reasons why people do not make money blogging.

Let me share my thoughts!

Make money blogging, tip #1!
People give up too soon. Blogging takes times and earnings are residual. If you expect to see a ton of money overnight, think again. My best advice is give yourself a schedule. Write 2 new blogs or articles a day. Keep with it for atleast 3 months before giving up. Be patient. This is key!

Make sure people can find what you write in your blog!
The search engines have no idea what your blog or article is about. Your title and labels are important. Plus you will want to use those same few words many times throughout your blog. For example, you see my title The 5 Biggest Reasons People Do Not Make Money Blogging. I used those words throughout often and as a label. The search engines understand what this is about and can include appropriate ads. Update. Things have changed a bit. These days it is important to use other closely related keywords. For this post, you see my title. Instead of repeating, I find other words to use like blog, cash, write and so on.

Get your blog out their and rake in some cash!
No visitors. If people are not reading your blog, you will never earn any money. Use Twitter, Tweet each post, post on Facebook, Digg, Shetoldme and you can even add the url to search engines like Google and Bing.

Make money blogging by finding the right subject
Relying on one subject that is not working, not a great idea. You have your Blogger account set up. Did you know you can start a new blog there. If one subject is not working after many months, try something else. If you get discouraged, set it on the back burner. Come back to it when you are full of new ideas.

Get your creative juices flowing and start blogging with positive energy

Not enough things to write about. When you plan your blog, be sure you choose a subject that there is plenty to write about. If you run out of ideas after two weeks, you are in trouble.

If you get just one thing from this advice, wonderful. I have been learning for the past couple years on how to make money online. I am now happily earning full time income from many sources. I tried many things and failed more than I succeeded. Although I wish I could have learned all about blogging in the first article I read, years ago, I am happy to have finally gotten where I needed to be. Learn all you can and even to this day I know there is still so much more for me to learn.

Good luck and happy blogging!

The biggest mistakes people make blogging

The biggest mistakes people make blogging

I do consider myself a successful blogger. I was stuck at $100 a month for months. I decided that was all I would ever make blogging, so I would just not write anymore and collect the money every month.

I earn money at several places on the internet. When one of the biggest sites I earned money at went under, I turned back to blogging. That was less than a year ago. I went from $100 a month, to earnings of $2400 which I earned last month. This was all in less than a year.

I have learned alot about blogging. Finally everything came together in my mind. I see what mistakes I have made, and hope to share so you do not make the same biggest mistakes as I did.

The biggest mistakes people make blogging #1

People want money quick these days. That is usually not going to happen with blogging. You need patience. Write as much as you can the first few months, then maintain. Once you have built a nice library of blog posts continue blogging once a day, twice a day. Just come up with a schedule and stick to it.

The biggest mistakes people make blogging #2
One of the biggest mistakes people make when starting out blogging is not repeating your "main words" or topic. In other words, this blog is called "The biggest mistakes people make blogging." I have it as my blog title, mentioned many times through the blog and have it as a label. This way the robots in internet land understand what my blog is about and people can find my articles.

The biggest mistakes people make blogging #3

People planning or hoping to make money blogging often forget to get the blog out there! After I write a post, I tweet it, share it on Facebook, add it to Digg and Shetoldme. I also add it to the search engines link Google and Bing.

One of the last mistakes people make blogging is giving up after a topic does not work. I have many different blogs at blogger. Some do well and some I have only written a few dozen posts and then stopped. Will you make tons of money on any blog you have just started, no. Pennies trickle in at first. I do not like to put my eggs in one basket. If I am making not a cent after many posts, that is a sign to me that subject may not be any good.

How Can I Make Money by Blogging?

A few days ago I was thinking back to when I wanted to start blogging. I had two kids and wanted to know how to make money from home. The problem was, I had no idea how to start. So, I sat with the idea for a long time and did nothing. One day my spouse was talking to a coworker that claimed he made decent money blogging. He called me on the phone and allowed me to ask his friend many questions. That night I started my blog. Our conversation only lasted about ten minutes and I certainly did not learn everything, but I learned how to atleast start blogging.

I decided to write this blog to those of you who ask How Can I Make Money by Blogging? I will keep this easy, simple and just explain how to start!

You CAN make money from blogging!
Before we begin, I thought it would be interesting for me to share how much money I make blogging. I started out just making pennies and writing alot. I kept with it and wrote about 4 articles a day for about 4 or 5 months and then was making about $100 a month. We ran into financial hard times, as my husband was out of work for a while, so I put blogging on hold. I was just not making enough money to keep blogging. So I worked other online jobs and continued to see the $100 a month, without doing a thing. This past February I was able to get back to blogging and decided to blog about three articles every single day. By March I doubled my income and was at $200. In April I was at almost $500. In may blogging I made just over $1000. In June the money I made blogging was just over $2000. And July I had $2500 blogging!

Where and how to start!
Find a site to blog at, I write at Blogger. Now brainstorm and come up with a niche. A niche is a topic you want to write about. It is best to chose a topic not many other people are blogging about. You also want to find a subject that you will be able to blog about for months to come. You do not want to run out of ideas after 10 posts. Now that you have your blogging idea, set up your Blogger account. It is very simple, costs no money and they literally walk you through every step of the way. You get paid when people or visitors click on your ads. The ads will appear around or to the sides and top of each of your blogs. These come from Google Adsense and Blogger places the ads for you.

Patience at first and just write
I am not going to go over every last tip. Will leave that for another post, this post is How Can I Make Money by Blogging?  I want the beginner, like I once was, know how to start blogging. But I will share some things you may need to know. Blog often and do not get discouraged in the beginning. This is why many people fail at blogging. Had I not restarted back up in February I would have had no idea on how much money I could truly make.

Keywords and similar ways to say the same thing
Your title and key words are important! Be sure to include your title, as you can see I did, many times throughout your article. You also want to include words that are similarly related.  This will help the search engines understand what your blog is about. VERY IMPORTANT. A mistake I made in the beginning was writing improper. I thought in a blog you were supposed to write like you were talking to a friend. No, write proper English so your visitors find you professional and want to keep reading.

How Can I Make Money by Blogging- what to write about!
At Blogger you can have many different blogs, all with different topics. I have about ten different blogs all with different subjects. This way you will be able to see what works and what does not. The key to making money blogging is getting traffic. You will see at the bottom of each blog you can post it to Google Buzz, share your blogging on Twitter, Facebook and even email it to friends. I also copy the url at the top of the page. That is the http: and add my url to Google and Bing!
