How to Make Money at Zazzle

How to make money at Zazzle

You have signed up at Zazzle and as we all are in the beginning, wondering how much money people are making and how long it takes to start making money!

First of all, there are many people at Zazzle earning a full time income, to be exact, $5000 or more a month.
But that, of course, is people who have put alot of time and energy into their Zazzle stores.

Many people say that you need at least 1000 items listed to really be making money there. I, personally, have about 500 items in my Zazzle store and up until this month have had a sale here or a sale there. This month I have made $75 in the past 10 days.

How to Make Money at Zazzle, My story and earnings

This month I did have one large order that I made over $50 on. Someone ordered T-shirts and Posters in one particular design, so I am not sure if they have a store and are going to resell them, or what the story is, but I was excited!

I started Zazzle in September, this past year, so I have been at Zazzle 7 months. The first month I did work hard getting some items up and listed, but with my Ebay Business booming before Christmas, I put Zazzle on hold, I did not add any new items from October until recently. I treat zazzle as a very part time business, thus far. I must say I see alot of potential with it though. Very little work, and the nice thing is once you design something, it is up in the marketplace forever!

My advice on how to make money at Zazzle
Be patient at first. Design as many items you can in the beginning. Out of the many places I make money at online, Zazzle is one of the few I see ALOT of potential to make money at!

How to Make Money at Zazzle, Update!
9/2011
I truly have not added many new designs since I have posted this blog. The cool part is I continue to make money. I usually average between $50 and $100 a month. It gets a bit busier around Christmas. If I continued to add new design at Zazzle, can you imagine how much money I may be making. The coolest part about the residual earnings at Zazzle is that they seem to keep going up! Yeah!

  1. Great blog! I found you in a Google search for Making Money with Zazzle. I have a couple Zazzel accounts, because I have diverse items that felt odd together. http://www.zazzle.com/patentplaceusa does alright, but http://www.zazzle.com/thedovetailjoint has been a real winner. I currently have a $141 payout that's pending from that one profile.

You also mentioned eBay. If you haven't looked into it yet, you should check-out the eBay affiliate program. I make far more with eBay links on my blogs than any of my Zazzle accounts. I write mostly about woodworking tools, because it's what I know, and like you I've had a lot of success selling on eBay. I hate to treat this comment like a big ad for my sites, but if you want to see what I'm doing on Blogger, check out my busiest blog http://shopsmith-tool-hunter.blogspot.com You'll also see by my Blogger profile that I have several other blogs; all of which have eBay affiliate links, as well as Amazon and Google AdWords.

Good luck, and I hope you continue to be successful in your income goals. Scott

  2. Right there with ya! I opened up a shop on CP a few years ago and had nothing coming in for months. Then, I splurged and got the premium shop and was able to pay my shop fee for the year during my 15 day trial. When they switched changed their royalty structure I was ready to give up but found Zazzle was just as easy if not better to organize and design for so I opened a shop there for FREE!

While CP still provides me with the largest amount of sales, Zazzle gives me more in royalties per sale.

I made proseller a few months ago and continue to pull modest amounts in from my various shops. If anyone is really serious about some extra income, this is the way to do it.

Now, I have a blog (http://mongoangrymongosmash.blogspot.com)devoted to my designs as well as tips for designing. I also have a facebook fan page and a twitter account all linked into my stores. My mortgage, last Christmas, and my vacation is being paid in shirt money, which is nice.

BTW, don't just limit yourself to Zazzle. While CP charges for the same type of service as Zazzle, places like Printfection and Skreened can host your designs for free as well.

    Keep Calm and Zazzle On.

  3. I have a lot of things up on Zazzle like T-shirts coffee mugs stickers ties shoes etc, I have sold a few things but really haven't been so lucky. Where do you advertise your store? I would like to sell more items, maybe you could take a look at my store and pass it around to people.

  4. I am also a zazzle user and have had a fair amount of success with it. So far, my sales are ranging $50-$100 a month, but as you said, I see a ton of potential. This article has some additional tips that can help you get more money coming out of your existing stores:
